“Mark at GrantHero was critical to our successful Innovate UK Contracts for Innovation bid, his experience and attention to detail resulted in an immaculate submission. Far superior to other grant support services we've used, and much better value.”

What assessors actually score

Clinicians and scientists mark these. Write for them.

Life sciences bids lose marks in predictable places. Our AI Assessor scores every answer against the real criteria, and a bid-writer who has sat on the other side tells you where it's still thin.

  1. 1
    Clinical need, evidenced not asserted
Patient numbers, current pathway, and what fails today, with sources. “Huge unmet need” loses marks.
  2. 2
A clear line between shown and projected
What you have demonstrated, at what TRL, versus what the grant will prove. Blur it and reviewers assume the worst.
  3. 3
    Regulatory and adoption route
MHRA / UKCA class, the NHS or payer pathway, and who signs off. Assessors are checking you know the hoops.
  4. 4
A commercial case that survives the clinic
Who pays, how much, and why a hospital or pharma partner would switch. Not just market size.
