GrantHero

Grant funding for clean energy and net zero companies

Generation, storage, grid, hydrogen, transport and industrial decarbonisation. The engineering is yours; the funding side is ours, which calls actually fit, what a credible consortium looks like, and how to position for a net zero assessor. We’ll tell you honestly where you stand before you commit a day to it.

“I put my project scope into Claude, then tried ChatGPT. Both gave me the worst AI slop I've ever seen. With GrantHero, I did a brain dump and what came back captured everything I thought was valuable, inside the word count. Whatever Mark's doing, he's obviously got some secret sauce beyond just Claude.”

What assessors actually score

Engineers and energy economists mark these. Write for them.

Net zero bids lose marks in predictable places. Our AI Assessor scores every answer against the real criteria, and a bid-writer who has sat on the other side tells you where it's still thin.

  1. 1
A carbon number, not a carbon claim
Tonnes CO₂e avoided, over what baseline, by when, with the method shown. “Significant emissions reduction” scores nothing.
  2. 2
Levelised cost that beats the incumbent
Assessors want £/MWh, £/kg H₂ or £/tonne against today's alternative, and the path to get there.
  3. 3
A route to a real site
Who hosts the demonstrator, who connects it, what consents are needed. Grid and planning are where net zero projects die.
  4. 4
A consortium that can actually deliver
Named partners with the right roles, a utility, an OEM, a university, not a list of logos.
